I haven't blogged for a while - but I've been busy. I've been working on several things at once. I've gotten 19 whirlygiggle blocks together - I'm not sure what size I will stop at.
I'm doing them all with polka-dots so when I exhaust my supply of polka-dotted fabric. On my Crazy Mom quilt along www.crazymomquilts.blogspot.com I am only 5 behind where I should be. I have an old UFO almost quilted and will share it later in the week. I stepped in for the Spring Swap that Linda www.all-stitched-up.blogspot.com was doing and sent this to my partner Besty - at Quilting Fiesta www.quiltingfiesta.blogspot.com . I really love this line - Deb Strain's Fresh. I had 2 charm packs and hated to cute the squares up. So I didn't. Stayed tuned in the next couple of weeks for what else I've done with them. Again - loved them too much to cut them up!

Right now I'm late for both a baseball game (ds) and a swim meet(dd#2). Trying to figure out which to get to - but they are in opposite directions at the same time! I love summer - what summer things are you all doing this week?

Lynn I hope you received my email. I am so glad that you did not cut the charms up because I am enjoying the full effects of that runner. I simply love it.

I love whirlygigs! I clicked on the table runner pic and your machine quilting is very nice. What pretty gifts and very "springy". Amd I spied rick rack too!

Love the wee pot holder and towel there Lynn!

Ok, so more bibs and burpies were made here, then gardening and watering and other out door stuff. Otherwise not that much sewing.

Hi Lynn--I'm doing amandajean's 9patch quiltalong, too. I read your post about it getting harder to find 2.5" squares. The same with me so now I've gotten addicted to scrap bags! My local quiltshop owner lets you rummage through her scrap baskets and stuff ziplock bags with all you can get in as long as the bag closes. I got a ton a cute scraps for less than $10.00 (more scraps than I can use but will use for other quilts.) Love your charm pack quilt. You were right not to cut the charms, the fabric is wonderful! Good luck on the quilt--can't wait to see it!

Hia Lynn, sorry it has taken me so long to reciprocate the visit- life sort of took over this past week.

I know what you mean about liking a fabric so much you can't bear to cut it up.

Well done for being an angel on the swap.

Have a great weekend
