jam done!

Strawberry jam making for the season is done! I still need to cut some up and freeze. But this is much less time consuming than making jam. I have done no sewing for a couple of days now. I did go to my sewing group though and work on a redwork block that I am doing. I'll post a picture of it here soon. Here's a picture of the jam jars. I love the color of the jam. Especially when the light hits the jar, it looks jewel-like, berry pretty!

That looks so yummy. It always gives me a warm glow when I see a shelf full of home made goodies, and I'm sure you feel the same.

I think you should share your favorite jam recipe! I made some two years ago, but the tops didn't seal and we had to keep them all in the fridge! It was a little frustrating giving it to someone and saying "make sure you keep it in the fridge". I love making stuff like that and would love to see your recipe!

I just finished making 24 jars with my husband's help. I want to make at least 24 more...... my kids would eat it all day if they could.
