I've joined in on the Scrappy Stash Along over at Ellison Lane Quilts http://ellisonlane.blogspot.com/. I've just finished the top and am going to sew lots this weekend so I can finish it by the finish date (11/13). It's a lovely sunny day here Molly wants to play. She picks the nastiest ball she can find as the favorite fetch ball for the day. She could play fetch all day long.
Our cat Jinx is not doing well, every day that he seems pain free and happy is a good one. He wanted to sit on our porch in the sun today, which made me glad. I've never had a cat before, and apparently according to our vet, he is unusually friendly and sweet. I've noticed when I tell Molly to sit he sits too. We've been enjoying the time we have left with him, which seems sad, but it's been a lesson in appreciating those we love (people and animals).

Love the pet pics. They look happy and well cared for. The quilt top is great. I love the colors and lay out. Nice. It is such a good feeling finishing a top.

Happy sewing for this weekend Lynn...We once had a cat and a dog that were great mates as well...the cat would sit with the dog and they would come when each other was called. Enjoy your special times xoxo

I love your quilt, so colourful, fresh and modern. Great picture of Milly, though she looks as if she doesn't have a body, a bit like the Cheshire Cat. Poor Jinx, it's so sad when you realise that a pet is reaching it's last days, but at least he is able to enjoy some of his time with you.

So sorry to hear about your cat. I hope he continues to have a good quality of life for some time yet.
