I have lots of scraps from kid quilts I've made over the past few years. I used some baseball themed scraps to make this for the 100 Quilts for Kids
http://www.swimbikequilt.com. I think I'll send this one to Margaret's Hope Chest. I have a couple of others in the works I want to finish by the October 14th deadline.
My new quilt helper, sadly my other one resigned when she left for college. If only Molly had thumbs.

My apologies to your former quilt helper (the human one) but Mollie is the best!
I love making string quilts. I have a box of strips I just stripped. Needing to find the times to sit and sew. Once I get started it's like eating bbq potato chips...can't stop. That is a wonderful string quilt.
OMG what a beautiful quilt..love those colours!
Me encanta lo que has hecho Lynn...me gusta el efecto de las lineas y su combinación, lo mejor es que has usado lo que te queda de otros proyectos, eso ayuda a la economía, ahorrando asi podrás comprar otras telas jejejeje.

I'm impressed with anyone who manages to make such good use of all their scraps, I always find it a real effort. Poor Molly, she doesn't look too impressed with her new job!
Very nice string quilt, not at all scrappy because you have used the same fabrics in almost all blocks.
wonderful quilt for a great cause.
Won't someone be happy to recieve such a colorful, warm quilt!! You are too sweet! ~karen
I'm blown away with this gorgeous quilt. I don't make them, but I appreciate the artistry of talented people like you.
Lovely work Lynn. I'm sure Molly would help if she could.
Love this quilt too. At least Molly can keep you company.
