Some things I've been working on, and on and on

I have a lot of works in progress. Sometimes I just like to play around
When I have lots of scraps left from a particular project I start making blocks and they often become a quilt to donate. I made my son a baseball quilt and had lots of leftovers. I still have enough for one more scrappy quilt.
Ufo's ... sigh. This one isn't really my fault. It was for a family member's new baby that up until he was born, they were expecting a girl. That was a big surprise. I put the blocks aside and super quick made another quilt instead. Now they are expecting another and I got these back out. My aim is to put this together and then make a blue one, that way I'll be covered and I'll donate the other one.
Sorry about the pictures, it's another dreary day and I can't get the lighting right. My helpers are following me around today now that school has begun.

Yep, I had that girl quilt all ready then my niece had a boy after being told it was most certainly a girl! Next babe was a girl though. :o)

I just finished cutting eons of green and blue strings. Future donation quilt.

it's fun just to play........no need to always have the perfect plan to start with.............

Good jump start on the baby quilt. And a little play is always good.

Lovely fun work and for a good cause too. The pink with ducks are sweet. I hope a little girl gets them this time.
