Back again!

My family spent a few days at the beach and I took lots of sightseeing photos that I'll share later in the week. For now I have finally finished a quilt I promised to Em of Em's Scrapbag www.emsscrapbag.blogspot.com for her Happy Chemo Quilts.
I have a quilt I have to finish in 2 days, I'm thinking of using fusible batting, any thoughts on that anybody?

love the quilt Lynn, blue and yellow always looks so happy together. As for the fusible batting, I wouldn't use it, only because 1. it's polyester, 2. it won't hold up to the constant washing.3 it won't crinkle up nicely in the wash like cotton does,4 it doesn't have the warmth or feel of a cotton batting. My solution would be to use cotton batting a quilt basting spray. I haven't used quilting pins in over 3 years, since I found the spray it's the way I do my quilts, so fast and simple with little to no movement. Hope that helps you some.

A little beauty to help someone feel lots better. I like the colors and simplicity of pattern. No opinions on fusible batting except I tried it many years ago and ended up with a messy iron!

Cute quilt! I tried fusible batting once and didn't like it at all. Among other things, it didn't fuse.

Lovely quilt Lynn. Welcome home. Not used fusible batting but a local shop here recommended it. I usually use warm and natural with 505 spray.
