I've fallen

My last post was much more wordy than typical for me (I talk - a lot - it's a problem) but I try to keep my blog posts short. So for this post all I need to say is I've fallen off my fabric diet - and here's why - 1/2 yard. I don't even know what I'm going to do with it. I made it 56 days until then.

Who could resist that cute piece of little girlie fabric?

It is lovely though Lynn. I had to buy in a few odd bits lately as I didn't have the right shade of blue for a special project. I am still trying to keep my buying to a minimum especially as we are trying to move house.

cute fabirc. If we do not buy fabric the beautiful quilt shops will go out of business. we cannot let that happen.

I'd be right in your boat if I saw that too Lynn. Well chin up and it's a new day.

You should join with Bec (at Oh Sew Busy, http://ohsewbusy.blogspot.com/) and me and a few other people so far. We're going to work together to help and encourage each other not to buy any new fabric for up to six months. Why not pop over to her blog and read about it.

I totally understand the concept of being on a fabric diet, BUT I think it's OK to splurge every once in awhile! besides, all you got was a half yard! maybe a more realistic goal ie:only buy one new (small) piece of fabric every 3 months (or whatever you think is resonable) remember... it's hard to quit anything 'cold turkey'
ps. I love that fabric too!
