This week I have been practicing my free-motion quilting and also working on learning how to machine bind a quilt. Here is my efforts at that:

I also put together some 9-patch blocks for Crazy Mom's www.crazymomquilts.blogspot.com Quilt-Along. I am really enjoying this because I'm using only scraps (so far). It's fun looking at scraps from other things I've done and I'm finally putting them to good use. AND I am on day 13 of my fabric diet!

I machine quilted 50 hot pads before I did my first quilt. And I thought it was ok. When I look back on it I know I've come a long way. Practice, practice practice! I'm sure you're doing that. Your work is darling.

If I had a fabric I blew it all to pieces when I went to Amish Country. Good for you for sticking with it.

Stephanie has the best binding tutorial that I have found yet. I relaly like the fabric you picked for that.
And I saw that 9 patch thing and thought of joining in too.. over 300 people so far. Lots of folks with scraps! :-)
