8921.45 miles (or 14357.30 km)

That's how far my Doll Quilt Swap came! All the way from Lin in Thailand! Lin sent me the cutest little quilt. Look at the stitching on the sashing - so cute. I love the fabrics that she used and speaking of fabric Lin also sent me some pieces of very sweet fabric. I plan on using this soon. Thank you Lin for making this such a fun swap.

I've been using the rainy afternoon as an excuse to scour the internet for quilt blogs--and I had to stop here for a moment, because I live in Cary too. :-D And this is a particularly lovely quilt, I'm about to embark on something similar, although I'm not sure about using white for the framing---that seems to be the most popular choice, but I have A Thing about white.

Anyway, hi!

I love this. I love squares. There is something just so simple and perfect about patchwork. And it shows the fabric off. Which I love.
