a finish today




Finished this today. This was my first time using a charm packet and it was easy.
My sewing machine is still be held hostage at the repair shop. Hopefully it will be coming home Monday or Tuesday. I've been busy making my sewing room tidy and cutting out some future projects.

When I went outside to take a photo of the quilt and I found this little guy on the door mat -

I've noticed lots of butterflies around. I just haven't been able to get close enough for any photos.

That's a pretty quilt, Lynn. What are its dimensions? And how much fabric did you use for the cornerstones and sashing? I'm curious because I have several charm packs just waiting........ This looks like a nice doable pattern!

That's a beautiful butterfly; wish we had interesting ones like that!

Love the quilt and the butterfly! There are alot of butterflies around this year. More so than normal I think!

Great quilt, sometimes the easy ones are the most effective, aren't they! Is that a Ulysses butterfly? It looks like one we have here in Australia called that.
