As part of Emily's http://emsscrapbag.blogspot.com/2014/04/blue-bird-challenge-reveal.html flour sack challenge I got to play along. I had a hard time cutting it up. I wanted to keep the words as well as the picture. Since it was meant to work hard and hold flour I thought it should continue a life of usefulness. In fact it's already in heavy rotation with my other grocery store bags. Since making bags is a huge challenge for me, I'm pretty pleased with it. Check out the other participants responses to the challenge. They are really impressive. Ooops, forgot to mention to visit Emily's blog to vote for your favorite!

I love how you kept it whole. It'd be a shame to lose the words by cutting it up. That is a really great bag Lynn.
Very cool! I love that you still get to see the picture and words. And it is so neat you chose to keep it as a bag...Like it gets a 2nd chance.

Nice job on your bag. Love the color.
Love the bag. One day I will make one too. Heaven knows I have enough of these sacks. You should remind your viewers to vote. Gook Luck!
I love the idea of a bag and not cutting into it. It came out so well.
That’s fabulous. Where do you find a wonderful flour sack like that?? :-)
Lynn, your tote is darling!
great idea to use your bluebird in a bag. off to vote.
Fun! My mom used to make stuff from flour sacks, so this brought back memories.
