While standing and cutting fabric is a challenge for right now, I have plenty of ufo's that I've been working on. One of which is a wool sampler I started a long time ago. I love working with wool. I finished up this block and have another in the works.
I also wanted to share my growing stack of scrappy strings I've been working on. I had a bunch of 4.5 inch strings and decided to make some rectangles. What will happen next with them, I'm not sure about. Stay tuned.

Glad you are keeping busy even with a broken leg. How much longer do they think you will be laid up? The wool block is gorgeous. Can't wait to see what becomes of the strings.

good to see you are doing some sewing.that wool block looks familiar. I think I might have started that same quilt but decided I didn't want to do it.

Very impressive wool sampler, Lynn. I also love the bright colors of your scrap pieces. I can imagine all the beautiful creations you'll be able to make.

The wool block is lovely, so colourful and yet so 'country'. You can endless fun with scrappy string blocks, though I find them really difficult to quilt.

How's that leg of yours doing, Lynn? Looks like you've got a couple of fun projects in the works. I love the colors in the string quilt.
