We picked up the rest of our chicks this weekend. They are really adorable. It's taking up some time getting the brooder all set up. The temperature, the bedding, waterer and feeder all just so. I think we got it now though. They are tons of fun to watch. I don't want this to turn into a chicken blog, so here's a picture of Molly. You'll notice it's a good picture, which means I didn't take it, my daughter got this of Molly playing with her new favorite toy this weekend. Molly has a lot of energy! Staying still is not the norm. I've been doing some sewing, in between tending to chickens and playing football with Molly, that I'll be sharing in a day or two.

Aaah! Cute pictures and Molly looks as if butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. At last I'm able to type using both hands again, so I'll be getting up to speed soon. I can use the sewing machine, though pressing on the ruler to use the rotary cutter is still painful, but I'm getting there. Looking forward to seeing what you've ben getting up to.

We got 18 chicks this spring. Stinky little things. I can't wait til they can go in the hen house. They are at my SILs house right now waiting for the coop. We won't have eggs until Christmas probably. Your chicks look all warm and fuzzy.

Oh, they are all so cute! Thanks for sharing the pictures! It's interesting to me. I know nothing about raising chickens. If you'd like to do more post about them, I'd certainly read them.

I've thought about getting chicks but I'm afraid my doggy would eat them. How do you keep Molly away?

They have grown so much already! Molly looks like so much fun. Good way of keeping fit.
