It's been super hot here, just like everywhere else I guess. We have a few more 100+ degree days ahead of us this weekend. I just might sew some binding and catch part of a marathon of one of my favorite shows on a local tv station.
After that maybe I'll go uptown for a bottle of pop.

I know he had many years, but Andy Griffith was one of those I thought would live forever! I feel so sad that he is gone. Love that first pic.

I haven't watched any of his. I remember watching I Love Lucy a lot. Happy sewing! Here it is rain and more rain.

I was so sad and shocked when I heard Andy had died. His show is so good. Makes me smile whenever I watch it.

I grew up watching Andy Griffith and Opie. That is such a beautiful statue. I hope you all get some cooler weather real soon.

We've been stuck inside for weeks ago, and I've watched far too much television, but for quite the opposite reason to you. We have no sunshine here in the UK, just rain, rain, rain. The sun did come out between showers for an hour or so the other day and we rushed to sit outside, but mostly it's done nothing but rain for months. We're having the wettest spring and summer on record.

He was quite a legend. Like many, I grew up watching The Andy Griffith Show. Oppressive here too. Yesterday was bad but today will be worse. Perhaps a day of sewing???

This brings back many happy memories for me Lynn of the Andy Griffith show...we used to come home and watch it after school.

No need for pop here...more like warm drinks to warm us up! Stay Cool and have a lovely Sunday xo

My husband is so upset by Andy's death. I think of it as he's gone to Mayberry to really live.
