Maggie

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our dog Maggie after 13 years.

She was a huge golden retriever with giant paws and a thick shaggy coat.
She was always sweet and gentle. I would get her shaved down every few months and she'd look like a puppy again (a 90 pound puppy!)
When we would take her for her daily walk, strangers in cars would stop, roll down their windows and tell us how cute she was.

She spent a lot of time under my feet, especially at dinner time (or lunch and let's not forget breakfast time too). Poor Jinx will miss her too I think.

Abby and I send a big hug. It's hard to lose our furry friends and we know she will be missed.

You must be feeling very sad. Ruby is our first dog, but I've had to say goodbye to several cats, and it's always so hard.

The "boys" and I send our condolences. Losing a pet is hard at any time but during the holidays always seems worse somehow. We also lost our beloved 90lb. baby a few years ago at the same time of year. I think our kitty is still in mourning. She and the new boys still don't get along!

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your buddy. It is hard to lose a pet. The house seems so quiet when they are gone. I know you will miss her. Hugs!

Hugs & understanding.

Losing a furbaby is never easy. My Bogart passed almost 3 years ago & it still hurts.

But happy memories help to get all of us that are left behind through it all.
