This year, today it is sunny and 71. I'm ready to start my spring cleaning and put away winter clothes. But no, our local (Raleigh,NC) groundhog has other ideas. In just what might be the best groundhog name ever: Sir Walter Wally, saw his shadow, 6 weeks of winter, really Sir Walter, really?

I think all childern find joy in throwing snowballs at mom.
In England there is a saying "never cast your clout till May is out." It means don't tidy away your Winter stuff until after May.
Lovely to know there is sunshine somewhere. Here it's been overcast all week and rainy.
