This weekend saw a little bit of shopping

Some Halloween patterns
Old bobbins at very reasonable prices
It has been so dry and very warm here. My garden is a dustbowl. I had grand plans to plant lots of mums, but with no rain forcasted for at least a week I've decided not too. So the next best thing: flowers from the farmers market!

I also worked on this wool pattern. I love working with wool and haven't done much lately, so this was fun. Just not sure what to do with it now.

We also recently went to see Garrison Keillor when he was in town. It was a perfect evening!

I don't know what size your little wool applique is, but it would make a lovely notebook cover. And I love Garrison Keillor - his programme is on late at night on our of our radio stations so I'm often able to listen to it.

Aren't Fall colors the best? Love your bobbins. Very cute patterns.

Summer sure does have a hold around here. I am waiting for fall too.
I am having to use the water in my rain barrel to water some of my new plants.
Shopping is good to do instead of planting:D
We used to listen to Garrison a lot on the radio long time ago.

Lovely buys Lynn. Yes this is the time of year for working with wool and drinking hot choc here. I hope you get some rain soon so it feels more Autumnal for you.

We just got back to rainy Seattle from warm Chicago and are chilly! Looks like you've been busy. Sorry to hear about your quilt shop; several yarn shops around here have closed too. I guess in these times it's hard to find someone to purchase them. Sad to see.
