I am not going to start off another post saying that I haven't done much sewing this week. Instead I'll focus on what I have been doing.

I have been working on a little something special for someone special.

I also put the corners on my snowball 15 minutes a day scrap quilt.

The quilt shop where I have been going for years is closing. I am happy for the owner who is retiring (at the age of 86!) but sad because of losing such a nice place that I have spent so much time (and $$$$).

I bought some fabrics on sale there, just because.

My friend who worked there part time is now unemployed I guess...it was an absolute fun job for her. I'm thankful it wasn't P&S closing.

Well I think you've been working on some fun projects. Sheesh, I'd love to own a quilt shop AND run it until I'm 86! Great building...perhaps another one will open in it's place.

Oh Lynn that is so sad when you lose a loved place. I hope you find a new one or she sells it as a going concern.

Lovely fabric buying and great blocks.

Will share in a sec what I've been making.

Sorry about your quilt shop. Just because is a very good reason to buy fabric.

I had never been to that one. I knew it was there but a little too far for me. There are several in the Raleigh area that I miss .....like Archangel! Loved that shop!
