Stephanie www.loftcreations.blogspot.com from Loft Creations held a string challenge for the past several months. Earlier I finished a small table topper for the challenge and had every intention of completing a larger string project well before the deadline. I'm a little disappointed that I didn't meet that deadline, but I am thrilled that I did in fact finish it. All from scraps that otherwise would have been thrown away. This is a quilt that will get heavy use I think. Thank you Stephanie, without the challenge this would have not started or finished for that matter.

What lovely colours, and the white strip in the middle of each block gives it just the right touch of 'planning' to set off the informality of the strips.

That is gorgeous Lynn- well done love the bright with white. The main thing was to use up the bits and think about using more up as they gather.

Bright, happy, fun. I love it. Most important is using what you had and making it to the finish line!!! Congratulations. It was a fun challenge.

Great quilt Lynn, anything that uses up scraps is a great project. Love the colors in this one, so bright and happy.

Nicely done, Lynn. I love the colors. Maybe you didn't meet the deadline, but you DID do 2 projects!

What a beautiful quilt. It's good to use up scraps that would otherwise be thrown out.
