There hasn't been much sewing the past few days. But there's been lots of jam making, and strawberry eating. Lots and lots of strawberry eating. This batch was strawberry heaven. One more day of jam making, followed by cleaning the kitchen of all the stickiness, then it's back to sewing.

Oh yummy, I love to make strawberry jam, it makes the kitchen smell wonderful. Our strawberries haven't got going yet, though there are some English ones in the supermarket at extortionate prices - forced I bet. They need to have had the sun on them to taste like real strawberries.

Yummy! I LOVE strawberry season. Nothing beats fresh picked ones either! Ours will probably be late this year thanks to our cool spring.
