Here is my third block from the Christmas Story quilt that Melanie www.jellybeanangel2.blogspot.com and I are doing together. I'm having serious doubts about my choice of fabrics. I'm using scraps from a bag of imported french fabrics. But boy oh boy - is this ever busy.

Hia Lynn, I was looking at mine and thinking the same. I think it's because it's a detailed pattern with very little space for the eye to rest. Still it's a 1st time with this pattern for both of us. We will learn. :-)

This is sweet, really sweet. I'm working on a busy busy project too so I know what you mean but sometimes it is just ok to have a lot going on in a project.

Hi Lyn,
it looks great, I am frantically stitching to try and catch you and Melanie up.....

I like it a lot. The fabrics do make your eyes move to each block and that is a good thing.

blocks look great, how about a solid strip between the blocks to break them up

Lynn these blocks are gorgeous. Is there a specific book or pattern?
