I went to an antique shop this weekend and found this vintage tablecloth (very cheaply which makes it even better) and it fits my kitchen table perfectly.

I also bought this vintage looking piece of fabric from my local quilt shop. I'm stuck figuring out if I should just hem it and use it as a tablecloth or cut it into three pieces for 3 table runners. Any suggestions?

It could make some lovely seat pads for your windsor chairs that I spy there.

Hi!
What you have there is vintage fabric sold to the homemaker to cut and hem for either table runners as you suggested or tea towels. The towel size would be approx 16" X 31-32" long. From the 1940-50 era.
Lovely find!!

What lovely finds. I wouldn't have the heart to cut the 2nd one up as it had survived together for so long. A little bit of fabric history. I'd always worry that I had the final surviving sample of something.

They look beautiful, almost too beautiful to cut up; but you are the one that has to make the decision on what to do! Sorry I'm no help, they are truly beautiful though....

Oh, they are both so pretty.
I like the idea of table runners too even though it looks pretty as a table cloth.
