Has your sewing room or sewing area ever gotten so bad that you couldn't really sew in it? With all the Holiday sewing I had done, mine had gotten like that. Piles on piles on my cutting table. I spent last week cleaning and organizing. It was an extra challenging because I wanted to set my daughters sewing machine up. So I had to rearrange the furniture as well. I bought this plain little folding table and "prettied" it up by making a skirt for it. So now I'll have company while I sew, if only we can agree on a radio station to listen to while we're in there!

What a bright, cheery room! Does this mean Spring will be here soon? Even if it isn't, just going in that room will make it seem that way.
My DDs can sew, they just don't want to.

When I clean my sewing room it unclutters my creativity too. Love that feeling of a freshly cleaned room.
Lynn.. don't feel bad, after the holidays I closed my craft room for weeks.. afraid to even peek in. But nevertheless, I did and just like you.. took the task on hand and did a great job.
Thanks for your sweet words about lilly.. we ate lunch in Morrisville at the Texas Steak House and did some local shopping in Cary for baby clothing.. I found Lilly a rain coat and a Ralph Lauren spring dress and a bit of this and that and more of this.. and it was a fun afternoon.

Your room looks great! I need help in that area... my craft room has expanded into 3 rooms and I can't find time to get it all put back into one.
It is so satisfying to be tidy.....hope it lasts longer than mine usually does...LOL
Good luck with the choice of a radio station. Maybe take turns each time you are there together.
