Another ufo done. Some left over charm squares and fabric from stash. I don't think there is anything more fun than stripes cut diagonally for binding.

This is from the local news stations website: "Like we have been saying over the past few days, this storm does have the potential to shut things down for a few days so make sure you are where you want to be all weekend by Friday at midnight since it will be unwise to be on the roads over the course of the weekend."

Other than being a horribly constructed sentence, it looks like I'll be getting lots of sewing in. Last week it was in the 60's and I've seen flocks of robins recently, I am ready for spring, not more winter!

Always a good feeling to be able to use up stash (then you can buy new to replace what's been used) We're in the middle of an ice storm so we won't be going anywhere soon.

You think there's any truth to their predictions this time? Seems like the boy who cried wolf to me around here when it comes to winter storms. But, of course, I fear that the first time I disregard them will be when the real storm hits! Well, I won't mind being trapped in for a few days -- I, too, have lots of projects to work on. I only wish it was during the work week and not the weekend! : )

The weather here is definately been "freaky friday" too.

Lovely wallhanging Lynn. I've done my PIF presents and got them in the post to the Hole in the Wall Charity. :-)

Perfect stripey binding. 10* here this AM and not much warmer now. Fantastic excuse to stay home and sew.

How nice to have something quickly finished, using up scraps and stash, and to look that good. A win-win situation. I agree with you about striped bindings, and checked fabric cut on the diagonal looks good too. Hope you're managing to keep warm.
