I think I have a mouse in my sewing room - Mr. Mad Quilter says he doesn't think so, but I saw him looking behind the bookcase with a flashlight.

On a less hysterical note here are some photos of last weeks trip to the State Fair

Look at that side block with the Gingerbread Man - so cute.

This year's competition garden theme - Where the Wild Things Are

Jack and the Beanstalk

See the glass slipper in the corner - not a good picture - but it was so charming

We get far too many mice and shrews - alive and dead - since we've moved and Rosie has discovered hunting. The state fair looks great, far too much to look at in one day I'm sure - it sounds such a wonderful thing, a state fair, just like the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical.

What a great exhibition. Ooo like you I was looking at those darling little houses and the gingerbread men. So cute!

Peppermint is meant to deter mice.

Hmmph.. I posted a comment then the blog went down..now it's not there. Pewps.. but mooses or meaces or just 1 mice won't do in room filled with lovely fabric and laces! Set the traps.. bar the doors, get more kitties.. chop chop Lynn, find that rascal soon!

Love the fair photos.. never been to the NC one yet, even after all these years. Maybe next year you'll drag me.
