2nd September finish

Hurray - my second September finish and another UFO off my pile! I had a good reason for this one not getting done. I put so much time into the redwork, but when I finished it last year I thought my quilting skills were not good enough. Since then I have practiced and thought it was time. I did just a simple diagonal quilting line and am really pleased with the way it turned out. Don't you love plaid binding?

I love my backing fabric.
Have a terrific weekend -it's a three day weekend here, and I plan to sew over it. Who knows what I'll get done now that I'm on a roll!

The redwork is great fun, and the plaid binding absolutely perfect for it. The backing is lovely - weren't you sorry to use it for a backing though, where it won't be seen?
