I went to the big chain fabric store - When I see fabric that's more than $9.00 a yard and seems to be edging close to $10, I'm torn between my stand on supporting local business and my wallet. Plus I know the quality might not be as good if I buy at a chain. But, I have been shopping there lately. And look at these fabrics -- fresh, cute, happy and springy. They were on sale for $3.50 a yard! They had to come home with me.
It would have been wrong not to buy them ... right?

Great deal and so pretty! Sometimes you can find really good stuff at the chain stores. I know our local one is really trying to get into better fabrics, not necessarily moda, but better ones than the "cheap" stuff!

Totally, totally wrong of you if you had left them sitting on the shelf unable to experience the loving that you will give them Lynn.

Great fabric - the picture made me smile as soon as I saw it. What are you planning for them?

You just have to spread the wealth around. We'd all be sad if the chain stores disappeared too. They have their place.

Yummy fabrics! Brightens up a rainy weekend. :-)
