What a surprise!

Yesterday afternoon in between picking up kids - I was checking my email and I read one that said to check my front door ( I typically use my side door) and there was a package from my doll quilt swap partner! From John - aka quiltdad - who lives in the same town as I do. Now the funny thing is I saw the doll quilt on his blog at the end of June and commented how much I liked it. I never dreamt it was for me - I even seriously considered buying that fabric to make my own. There were a lot of goodies in the bag - I'm going to be busy using all that fabric! DD#2 laid claim to the chocolate and I may even treat my husband to some Kilwins Ice Cream. I know I'm overusing exclamation points here - but it was a a wonderful surprise - it really made my week!!!!!

YAY! I am so glad you liked everything. I figured since I was saving money on postage, I could raise the treat factor a little bit. I can't tell you how worried I was about not leaving it on the right door. Hope you guys like Kilwin's as much as we do! : )

Oh how lucky! It's a lovely quilt - I have a 'thing' for pinwheels, and the measuring-tape border fabrics are so cute! John was sure luck too since he didn't have to ship it! Yay!
